This wonderful Chihuahua metal sign is made from 24 gauge American steel (No Flimsy Tin Here). Select from three different sizes: Large, Medium, Small. Also, available with an optional rustic wood frame. Designs are baked into a powder coating for a durable finish. Unlike other tin signs, canvas prints, and posters, our metal signs will not bend, fold, dent, or wrinkle over time. You can take a hammer to our signs. Our signs are hand made just like in the days. Rest assured these metal signs are made to last!

The Chihuahua's history is convoluted, and many theories surround the origin of the breed. Both folklore and archaeological finds show that the breed has origins in Mexico. The most common theory is that Chihuahua are descended from the Techichi, a companion dog favored by the Toltec civilization in Mexico. No records of the Techichi are available before the 9th century, although dog pots from Colima, Mexico, buried as part of the western Mexico shaft tomb tradition, which date back to 300 BC, are thought to depict Techichis. The earlier ancestors probably were present before the Mayas as dogs approximating the Chihuahua are found in materials from the Great Pyramid of Cholula, antedating 1530 and in the ruins of Chichen Itza on the Yucatán Peninsula. However, a genetic study indicated that there was less than 2 percent pre-European mitochondrial DNA in modern Chihuahuas due to admixture with the European dogs.

Our Manufacturing Process

All of our signs are made to order and usually ship out in 10-14 business days. Orders are susceptible to shorter or longer lead times. Unfortunately we can't ever guarantee a dlivery date so please be sure to order in advance.

The signs are made from high quality, heavy guage American Steel. The metal is first powder coated then the designs are baked into the powder coating using our industrial heat presses. This proceess gives the signs a durable, paint job like finish. Our products are made to last unlike the flimly tin signs you get from Amazon and other shops.

Wood Frames: Many of our signs have the option to come mounted on a barn wood style frame with rustic screws. These frames are very unique becuase every frame is different and has unique knots, grain, cracks and small imperfections that give it that barn look. Our customer love the wood frames to go with their rustic or industrial home decor.
